M² Privacy Policy

Your privacy and the security of your personal information are extremely important to us.  We want you to know how we treat information about you that we may receive so that you feel confident using our Web site. Here is a complete overview of our privacy policy and the steps we have taken to safeguard your information:

Your Personal Information
We are committed to maintaining the privacy of your information online. We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information to or with any unrelated third party.

Any personal information we request from you is used solely for the purpose of understanding your professional background so that we can accurately match you with client projects and communicate with you. 

We ask consultants for a Social Security or Tax ID number once they are working on a project. We use the number to report the correct tax information at the end of the year.

When presenting a candidate for a prospective project, we provide our clients with your name and professional background as it pertains to the project specifications.

You can change your personal information or your contact settings at anytime by logging into the site and selecting "Update Profile."

Security of Your Information
We maintain strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate use. All information you submit to the consultant Web site is protected by an SSL, which encrypts your personal information before it is sent over the Internet.

To access any part of M²'s proprietary consultant Web site, all consultants receive a unique login name and password. When you sign in, our server will validate your login name and password and only allow you access to your own personal information.

Also, our encryption software creates a random, unique session ID each time you log in. This session will automatically time out after 30 minutes of inactivity to protect the privacy of your information. If you time out of your session, you will be prompted to log in again.

E-mail Options
We send a regular "eM Squared" newsletter via e-mail to our registered consultants. It contains announcements and information about working with M2. If you do not wish to receive these e-mails but want to remain in our Consultant Network, please send an e-mail to emsquared@msquaredconsulting.com with the Subject field, "Unsubscribe."

We also use e-mail regularly to communicate with you about prospective project opportunities, as this is often the most efficient and reliable way of reaching our consultants. When creating or updating your profile, please select your preferred method of being contacted. Most consultants request that we notify them by e-mail, but you may also select a home, work, or cell phone, fax number, or pager. To review or change your selection, log in to the consultant Web site and select "Update Contact Information" in the "Update Profile" section.

When you submit any information online, create or update your profile, submit an invoice online, or respond to a project online, our server will automatically send you a confirmation e-mail to let you know we received this information. These e-mails are a courtesy to you and are always sent to the e-mail address in your profile.
